Who we are
The Photo Booth People is a trading name of Apexl Studios Limited, company number 11609871, registered at 12 Lysander Way, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire GL56 0GF. We are the data controller for this website. Contact: studio@apexlstudios.com, 01608 544068.
What we collect on this website
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, work email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your company, the event and its dates. We also record the page the form was sent from. The website sets no advertising cookies, and uses analytics cookies only if you accept them (see below). Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and fault-finding.
Cookies and analytics
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and one starting _ga_) that last up to two years. They let us count visits and see which pages people use. Google processes this data for us, and it may be transferred to the United States. We do not use it for advertising.
If you reject the banner, or do not answer it, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
Why, and on what basis
We use enquiry details to reply, to quote and to deliver what you ask for. That is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, and, once we are working together, the performance of a contract. Analytics runs only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are stored on our web server and emailed to us through Mailgun, an email delivery service operated by Mailgun Technologies, Inc. in the United States under standard contractual clauses. If you accept analytics, Google receives the usage data described above. We do not sell or share enquiry data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the last contact, then deleted, unless they become part of a project, in which case they are kept with the project records for six years for accounting and legal purposes.
Guests who use one of our booths
When a booth runs at an event, the brand or organiser running the event is the data controller for what guests enter, and we process it on their instructions. The consent wording and the fields are set by that controller and shown on the booth before anything is captured. Questions about a specific event should go to the organiser; if you are not sure who that is, write to us and we will point you to them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing it. Write to studio@apexlstudios.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
